We offer a variety of boarding options!
Leatherman Lane is home to a select group of full & pasture boarded horses. We offer a range of care options to fit your horses needs, and your budget. Each horse here has an individualized care plan based on the owners wishes for her horse, whether full or pasture board, retirement or rehab board!

Our 40 acre facility offers a lighted 100' x 200' arena and 60' round pen (jumps, obstacles & poles on site). We have 12x12 stalls for our full boarders (with ground hay feeders, large water troughs, fans and ample shavings). Our full board horses are kept in pairs and each pair has a private dry lot off of their stall & private turnout paddock off that. We have multiple pastures & care options, 2 wash bays, 2 lounge areas, an additional 85' x 150' lighted arena with all weather footing, and 20 acres of woods with riding trails & an obstacle course! We are constantly adding to our facility to make it better for our boarders and their horses! Each horse is taken care of according to their owner's wishes for him/her, and has a written "care plan" for reference at all times to make sure everyone is on the same page and your horse is cared for according to your wishes!
This is a no drama, adult only facility. We have an interview process in place to ensure we are a good fit for you and your horse and that you are a good fit for us and our barn family. This takes place at the facility tour and has helped our barn become a relaxing place to enjoy with your horse and other like minded equestrians. Leasing a horse at leatherman Lane
Everything we do here is a little different, even the way we lease our horses!
Leasing a horse here starts on the ground in our Grounded Horsemanship program. Whether you've been riding your entire life, are just starting out, or are looking to get back into horses after some time off, it's all the same to start. Once your groundwork is where it needs to be, you move into the saddle with Lauren Beck Horsemanship, who is based out of our farm. Once she signs you off, you can lease the horse you've been working with & ride at your leisure.
This is the ONLY way to lease a horse at this barn. We do not rent horses out for trail rides, clinics, or any other purpose unless you have gone through our program!
We put our horses first at Leatherman Lane and the point of this system is for you to learn what they know (their buttons, their personality) not for them to learn how each new rider does things. Our lease and lesson horses are all handled the same way, no matter who rides them. Those with prior horse experience will go through these programs faster than others, but each person takes things at their own pace, with no timeline or pressure.
